We live in interesting times, historical times, times of change.

The changes are social, political, and economic.
Even though change is uncomfortable, I was always told to embrace it be-cause it is inevitable. Still, the change we are now experiencing is drastic and unprecedented in my lifetime.
Time to take a deep breath as a society and country and go back to the basics.

Do unto others.

Treat strangers like family and family like strangers.

Always leave things a little better than you found them.

Actions speak louder than words.

Show compassion and kindness to someone for the sake of doing it, not for trying to get something out of it.

Don’t trade your integrity for money. The money won’t last but the stain on your reputation will.

Go about your business with steadfast resolve, and reap the rewards humbly, gratefully, and gracefully, because the rewards will come.

With all of our flaws we are still the greatest country in the history of the world. The United States of America is a place where people risk their lives, and the lives of their families to get to. Because here we have a chance to make our dreams come true.
We are, and should always be, the land of opportunity.
And, God willing, that will never change.
