Yesterday, Tiger Woods was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he will continue orthopedic care & recovery following a nasty car accident on Tuesday morning. Woods had to be extracted from the vehicle by first responders after suffering severe leg injuries to both his upper & lower portions of the tibia and fibula bones. The bones in his leg actually broke in half and pierced the skin during the crash so a rod as well as screws & pins had to be inserted in order to stabilize him. It is only the beginning for a very lengthly and painful recovery process for the professional athlete.
